On October 15, 1931, in a fisherman's house in Dhunshkodi village of Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was born. His full name was Abdul Pakir Jainullabdin Abdul Kalam. He was the youngest child of Zainulabidin and Ashiamma.

Abdul Kalam's father used to take care of his family by renting a boat to fishermen. Abdul Kalam ji had three elder brothers and 1 sister. Abdul Kalam ji had to struggle a lot from the beginning as the house's financial condition was not good.

After this, in the year 1950, he completed his graduation in Physics from St. Joseph's College, Tiruchirapalli. Then he did a diploma in aeronautical engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1954 to 1957.

In this way he continued his studies under difficult conditions, and later the highest post of the country was elevated to the post of President and made his mark as India's most famous scientist.

Abdul Kalam Ji, a man of amazing talent, started his career as a scientist in the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) after completing his studies. While working in it for a few days, he was also a member of the Indian Committee for Space Research. Then in the year 1962 he joined important organization of India- Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
